it was so warm today...it was wonderful, it did my heart some good!
AND my hyacinth has some pretty purple flowers, it is making my kitchen window look so pretty and smell so lovely. My heart feels like it is smiling :)

op shop finds & my five favourite people
I had a pretty stressful week, struggling with myself as usual with my photography so I was happy when friday came along. I grabbed myself a creme brulee and took myself down to my local vinnie's and found a gorgeous donna cover and the most loveliest flower bedsheet. It made my day! I truly don't know how I am going to survive this semester, there are a lot of things I have to organise but I am hoping that it will get easier with time.
. . .
Our weekend has been fairly wet with storms coming quite frequently and usually starting after hanging out the washing. But the clouds cleared a bit and the sun shone through, a truly magical moment. Just like the one below :) my kids are amazing!
a good book

my distracting day
It has been so immensely hard for me to concentrate today and due to my lack of concentration I have been sitting most of my extremely long day in front of this computer trying (in vain I might add) to finish a 300 word summary. The world outside is distracting me so :/

On another note this is my first ever Lula which I bought to help me with my fashion and identity subject...who knew they were so dear? I think this one will have to do for now although it is so very pretty.

I belong in the 50s
I do really feel some days that I belong in the 50's. I close my eyes and I can picture myself there, the music is just so magical and enchanting!
Maybe it is all due to my love for this man, his voice is divine! I cannot stop listening to his songs

film corner
How can I ever begin to describe Jane Eyre except wonderfully brilliant. The cinematography was simply gorgeous! but the ending to abrupt, it feels like they said we've got to wrap it up and cut it, I was waiting for more at the end. Either way I was in love with both Mr Rochester and Jane and I would highly recommend this version.

a perfect kind of day
These past few days have been so deliciously warm, simply the loveliest weather and such a waste being indoors. I spent most of my day yesterday reading and finishing Anne of Green Gables...and try as I might I could not read it any slower. I was in absolute heaven!
We were naughty today and had pizza and we got stuffed crust for the very first time too.
And third son has to wake up super early tomorrow to participate in "It's academic" (an Australian tv show just for kids where they answer questions and some are very tricky questions too) I am so nervous for him.

august break
So excited to be participating in August break although I realise I am late but reading Anne of Green Gables has kept me blissfully occupied. I will make up for it tomorrow, promise ;)
