Sometimes

Sometimes after sitting all day at my desk my legs and back start aching, so I get up and stretch a bit, but when stretching I get the urge to take photos, or look at my plants and flowers in my garden...but most of the time I get the urge to bake a cake. I am sure once this semester is over and done with I will be missing the computer and bored with baking (well, here's hoping right?).

PS. look how much my succulent has grown! He wasn't enjoying life indoors and was looking so sickly but now he is at the front and completely ignored and he is thriving, go figure!

life lately

I know I should be spending all my spare time finishing up assignments (just two left) but it seems that during my last weeks at uni I always lack the energy to finish up strong and get distracted by EVERYTHING!

So this is what I have been up to lately...a little baking, a little op shop purchases, a little mail making, a little crocheting. If only all my days could be spent like that ;)

so many things happening and so many things left to do (for uni) but I got to say I still enjoy a little visit to the op shop and a little bit of mail making ;) especially when I am lucky enough to find these cute wooden toys for $1. And today? a little bit of caramel slice making...mmmm. If there is any left I might get to photograph it ;) ha! and that is very unlikely.

my finds

Oh my it is May already! I cannot believe how quickly time is flying.

Nothing exciting happening my way (as usual) as I spend most of my time doing either homework or working at my internship. My only stress relief is to visit op shops. These are some of my finds. The dresses are from way back that I completely forgot to post about. The second dress above I bought for my daughter but it was so small on her :( The polaroid was a find from yesterday and at only $4 I was ecstatic.

Anyway just quickly writing to say I am still around...still alive although barely, lots of late nights but after this week it should be a lot calmer (I hope). Hope you all are having a wonderful week :D
