cross your eyes

so my week 'off' has been fairly quiet, which is wonderful as the past few weeks have been a whirlwind of craziness. I have had one thing after the other happening and I kid you not. Some of these 'things' include nits, a year 12 graduation, a thief coming into our house while we are asleep and my car dying. I hope the last few days of this week go fairly smoothly.

I did however finally get to bake and I even got a slice too! banana bread or anything really around these parts don't last long. I am still itching to do a little more baking, not too sure what exactly but I am sure I have a recipe in my bookmarks that I haven't tried yet.

and today I got the red shoes that I ordered from China. My toes are a little squished and the workmanship of the shoes is not fantastic but if you cross your eyes you can hardly tell :P ha!

cute shoes!! that's awful about the thief though, and your car! i hope you & your family are doing okay and that the thief didn't take anything irreplaceable. :(

Oh my gosh! The thief. I know how that feels because a thief broke into my parents house when I was home so what you've been through is just awful! Your shoes are cute at least :) Hope this week is better for you.

Hey Claudia...me too! nothing much happened the week I had off, thankfully.

Shoes are just for church, I can't imagine a whole day with shoes this high (well, high for me). Hope you are well :D

Red shoes are so gorgeous, I was looking at some Wittner shoes but they no longer had them when I wanted them *sigh* it is always that way with me

Yes, it was quite scary as he/she came in through the fence and then through the back of the house while we were all asleep. The person took the kids laptop and Andres wallet OH and a backpack. Nothing major but the fact you have to call and cancel all your cards is a real nuisance. I am glad no one was awake, I am usually up till very late but that night I was asleep by 9:30pm, that would have been a little scary.

It is the second time we have had a thief come in while we are in the house asleep. After it all this happened I got extremely paranoid of every little noise, slowly calming down a little but still when you start to think about it, it does freak you out just a bit.

Me too! :) Hope you are well

Okay, so I have finally caught up with all that has been happening here! I love the photos that you take of all the baked goodness, it makes my tummy rumble.

And I don't think I have to say that your shoes are gorgeous!

Miss talking to you love! xo
