I survived a week of uni (YAY), there are times that I really feel exhausted by it all and this week was definitely one of those times but luckily I am still alive. I even got to do a little baking yesterday despite the horribly hot weather and today I actually left the house which was incredible despite the hot weather (again).

The first pic is of my flea market find Sunday...another one of my much cherished activities lately. Makes me feel a little more human ;)

Hey there, I love how you've "packaged" the cookies - they look ready for gifting. This is great inspiration - I might bake cookies for X'mas gifts this year. How sweet is the heart plate too.

The weather has cooled down considerably this week hasn't it? Winter is still lingering but I don't mind actually. Summer is forecasted to be hot and dry and crazy to year - bracing myself for it.

I did a post yesterday re. the strawberry tart that I was telling you about, you know - the one that Stu dropped? You can have a peek if you're curious.

Love your photographs - they are so sharp and clean. Those cookies looks so gooey and warm - perfect for a cold day!

They were actually ok, I am not a big fan of chocolate with peanut butter. But if you like the combination I am sure you would love these cookies ;)

Oh thank you Nicole.

Yes uni has been extremely difficult to manage this semester but I have two weeks left (hence the very late reply...sorry) so life will soon go back to normal *I hope*

Oh definitely make cookies for gifts, I think people really love gift that are made by hand and wrapped in a way that makes it look extra special.

Weather has been all sorts of crazy lately, so hard to get out and do things when it has been warming up so much and then cooling down so rapidly (but I don't mind the cooling down at all).

I saw your post, I just haven't been able to comment. It must have been so heartbreaking to watch that beautiful tart fall :( Hope you have been well, I will be around eventually once my head is out of books and computer finishing up assignments ;) so happy I finish in two weeks YIPPEEEE!!

Thank you Liz :) my family loved them, peanut butter & nutella sounded like a nice combo to me but I realised I am not a big peanut butter and chocolate fan

wish I could do a little more baking but I am trying to build a energy & enthusiasm to finish these last two weeks as I usually cannot find any strength to finish strong. Hope you have been well ;)

Thanks Kate...a few incomplete pieces inside (it is a collection of canisters) but for $5 I couldn't expect too much I guess.

Yes baking is always good, wish I could do more but uni has kept me so busy this semester :( not good. Hope you have been well, it was so lovely to hear from you.
