saturday at the beach
it was a gorgeous day at the beach...right up to the part where I got my period. A very unwelcome surprise, I didn't even get a chance to go in the water. My kids did and the two oldest love to scare their mum by going really far in so that I can barely see them...so lucky that they are boys!

I love your photographs! I like how the yellow and red popped up among others in the first photo. It makes me want to go to the beach :D
It's your Summer our Winter right? Enjoy it, I hate it how periods come and ruin the fun. Hugs dear!
Such a beautiful day, I wish I could trade the chill for some sunshine! ;)
Urgh, that happens to me too. When you think you've got all the dates right, periods just simply drop by! LOL ;)
LOL. It's always the way.
At least you got to take these beautiful photos :)
x
Nicole is right! :)
thanks Debie!
I am a very proud Aussie especially with the work our lifeguards provide, they are amazing and any chance I get I will photograph them :)
Yes summer and last week is was a truly hot day so to escape a home that would feel like a furnace we went to the beach although very last minute. It was wonderful! well, all minus the little surprise. I can usually tell when I will get them but ever since I had my mirena it has been difficult :( no fair being a girl sometimes haha.
Yes that would be nice, especially when the days get a little hot over this way. It has been a very weird start to summer so I cannot know what the rest of summer will involve but I hope the days are gorgeous, I hate it when it gets dark so early.
It is the story of my life! especially on such a hot day when a little splashing in the water would have been wonderful. Ah well...next time?
I usually am very prepared as I feel a few pains and twinges a few days before but this time I was caught completely off guard.
Oh thanks, I couldn't do anything else so photo taker was my role for the day haha
Thank you Claudia :)
