not good

today has not been a good day

[+] a water pipe outside our house burst leaving us without water until 3pm
[+] water was turned off and all the boys at that precise moment felt the need to go to the toilet
[+] I didn't have a shower early in the morning so I was in PJ's most of the day until the water was turned back on & I had a shower at 3pm
[+] I got a lovely surprise from the period fairy, couldn't have been worse timing (sorry if there are any guys reading this)
[+] it was so hot and and humid today
[+] spent the day reading, but not fun reading, homework reading :(

the day couldn't have been any worse....oh wait

I sent Andres to buy me pads and he came back with the wrong ones *sigh*

list three: 15 awesome things

My sister and I, I am the one with pigtails

1. Taking off your bra after wearing it all day...heaven
2. The feel of clothes or bed sheets against your bare skin after a leg wax
3. The smell of something baking in the oven
4. Opening your wallet and finding money you didn't know you had, right when you needed it
5. New stationery
6. Stepping on crunchy leaves
7. When someone highlights a book you are now researching
8. Catching someone you like looking at you
9. Looking through old family photos
10. Catching up to a car that has just passed you at the next red light
11. Checking somebody out and not getting busted
12. Alone in the car singing your favourite song...loudly
13. A cool breeze after a very warm day
14. Peeing after holding it forever
15. Taking your ponytail out

a most excellent week

This past week has been so exciting for me, I have had access to what seems like millions of nikon lenses through uni and I feel giddy with delight. I have the one I used on the above photos for the whole weekend! A most excellent week & weekend is ahead ;)
