op shop finds

a totally unexpected visit to the op shop today
a most beautiful kind of day









so, so happy I popped in
I am in love with these enid blyton books and my heart did a little flip flop when I saw it
have a lovely weekend friends!

below is my last photomedia assignment
which I made into a flip book
& tonight I made into a video (it took me forever)
but I am happy to say that I have only ONE assignment left



and in other news
I finally made my bed AND cleaned my desk ;)
it is so SO good to actually see my desk now





I'm off to bed, its 2am already *yikes*

hooray

i didn't make my bed today
and I doubt I will tomorrow ;)
the house is starting to look like a disaster zone
and although I should clean...I couldn't be bothered.
two assignments are done!
and one to go.
YAY!

one of those days

It's been one of those days, the kind of day where you wake up and know things aren't going to go well just by looking outside.  The kind of day where:

• you used up your last undie and you put out a load to wash the day before and dried them outdoors but the rain has soaked them and you have to borrow a pair from your husband
  
• you finally decide to eat healthily only to realise there aren't any fruits left but an abundance of chocolate and yummy cookies
  
• your husband invites you out in the afternoon after a long time of not going out but you have a hundred and one things to do
  
• you get your umbrella out so you don't get wet walking in to the uni building only to still get wet from rain coming from different directions
  
• you decide not to go to the toilet at uni and hold it till you get home only to realise you have to stop at the shops and buy some veggies to make dinner that night and it feels like your bladder will explode
  
• you brush your hair only to later realise your hair looked much better before you actually brushed it
  
  But isn't it funny how it can sort itself out when you get a postcard in the mail
  
  

it was an op shop kind of day

a little peek of my op shop finds today.
i always go straight for children's books with gorgeous illustrations, i always imagine the pictures in a lovely frame in my daughters room but I can never bear to rip any book apart.
i'm off to play a little boggle, i can't remember the last time i played.

and a little feet gazing...and trying very hard to stay concentrated on uni work...obviously that is not working too well for me :P
