birthday cookie

I made a chocolate birthday cookie today. I told Alec I would make it for him and he has been bugging me everyday to make it. The photo didn't come out too clear but it has two chocolate cookies and chocolate frosting on the top of both. It was so sweet! You have to have a really small slice.

Orientation today was really good.  The lecture hall was full of students and it was interesting to see all these chic, boho, artistic, hippie guys and girls.  Most of them are coming straight from high school but I'm sure there must be someone my age :/

I managed to get my tutorial times changed today so that makes me extra happy too!  I don't know how this semester is going to go but I'm hoping I can handle it all.  It was actually quite hilarious as we had to draw the person sitting next to us.  I said to the guy next to me "I totally suck at drawing".  It was an exercise to make us loosen up cause most people were laughing/apologising for their poor efforts whereas if kindy students do the same exercise they proudly show off their picture.  I looked around and some drawings weren't that great, so felt a little better with my amateur attempt but in my defence we had 3 minutes to draw.  Well, that is the excuse I am going to use ;)

I also bought the new frankie today.  I haven't read it, I've been so busy today and I still have to watch two movies I rented.

[+] Over my download limit again...it takes forever for a page to load, fortunately it will reset in two days. Torture really, but I'll try to survive.

[+] Orientation day tomorrow. I am excited and scared all at the same time.

lovely weekend

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.   We spent ours taking garbage to the dump (finally), when it got too hot we jumped in the pool.  Lots of washing of clothes too, but still fun.

[+] Today was the day that I had to register for my tutorials and I guess it was just my luck that most of the times I wanted were all full by the time I logged in.  The actual registration opened at 11:30 today and I would have logged in at 11:32 and all of the early tutorials were gone.  I got stuck with really odd hours that I am not happy about.  I was so upset but there isn't much I can do.  I think?

[+] I finally got my polaroid camera that I ordered from etsy.  I'm so happy! I've been looking for one for a long time.

[+] I was browsing through etsy and found such amazing Jane Austen products. Now if only I had money

Happy valentines day! Not much planned for today but I love days where you can snuggle up and watch heaps of movies. Although...when you have visitors it is a bit hard but I'll try nonetheless and hopefully they get the hint.
