sweet treat

Today I made my first ever macaroons...pistachio macaroons. They got a little burnt since Andres turned up the oven to 175°C when I told him 150°C, but still yummy. Very yummy. Tomorrow I'll try again.

who minted?

A little break between all the reading, writing and drawing...painting my nails. Does anyone have problems painting their right hand like me? my left hand looks fine but the right hand looks like a 5 year old painted the nails ha! i love the colour though.

Just one week of uni left! I'm not sure my wrists can handle it though :/

My week has been very bland...with a very sick husband who destroyed my clothes dryer, very cloudy days with lots of rain and a lot more drawing of animals. But I'm counting down the days till I finish...16 days :)

The colouring-in of my animal alphabet is taking a little longer than I anticipated. It took me forever to decide whether to use markers, paint or pastels and although I still am not 100% on the watercolour, I have nonetheless commenced. My only problem is the outline, what colour should I use? I used brown and light grey on the above pictures although not sure if they are the right colours to use.

I am so glad this will all be over in three weeks!
